(Overview)
A new Webflow site for Digital Media Team, built around its services, case studies and content, with a CMS the team can manage without a developer.
I was the developer on this one. The design was by Regan Prestwood, a member of the Digital Media Team staff. The look is theirs. The build, and how easy the site is to run, are mine, so that's what this page covers.
- Webflow build
- CMS structure
- Interactions & motion
- Team handover

(The build)
Most of the work was in making a fairly content-heavy agency site stay easy to run. I built the responsive site in Webflow, set up reusable CMS collections for case studies and articles, and added the interactions and motion without making editing a pain.
Every case study runs on one template: an intro and service tags, a 'What we set out to do' slider, the brief, the strategy and the results. Each one also carries a headline result, and that's the line its card shows on the homepage, the case studies page and under other case studies.
The pieces inside a case study are CMS content too. Tags, slides and results are lists the team fills in, not blocks of text someone has to lay out by hand.

Filters that look after themselves
The case studies page filters by service and by vertical, using Finsweet Attributes on the Webflow CMS, with a Load More button. Tag a case study once and it lands under the right filters.
Sliders on CMS lists
Services, case studies, client logos and the latest articles all sit in Swiper sliders, and every one of them is a CMS list. The homepage changes when the team publishes, not when I do.
Motion that stays out of the way
Lenis handles the smooth scrolling and Webflow Interactions do the rest, with an autoplay video to open the homepage. None of it asks anything of the person editing.
Classes you can read
Custom classes are mostly BEM (cs-card__stat, footer__column--company-details), with a few u- utilities for type and containers. Not glamorous, but the next person to open the Designer can find their way round.
(Small world)
One of the six service pages sells web design and development, and its hero puts ShopM2M on a laptop.
That's another of my builds, so below is a site I built showing off a store I built. It has its own case study here too.

(Handover)
The real test of a site like this is how rarely anyone needs the developer.
Case studies and articles are CMS items with their place on the site already decided, so adding one means filling in a form, not building a page.
